At Personal Touch Jewelers, our relationship doesn't end when you walk out the door with your purchase.  We want to continue to provide you quality service for the life of your jewelry.  Listed below are some of the services we provide.

Free Jewelry Cleaning

• While browsing in our store, feel free to ask our jeweler to check the integrity of your piece and to clean it as well.  We recommend periodic examination of rings, earrings and bracelets containing stones.

Jewelry Refinishing

• Scratches and nicks in the metal caused by normal wear can be buffed and polished out.  White gold that has faded in color can be replated with rhodium to restore its finish.  Silver that has tarnished can be cleaned and polished.  Jewelry that contains "antiquing" can be redone to restore the original black color.

Professional Jewelry Repair

• Our jewelers are highly trained in working with all kinds of metals and stones.  Most repairs can be completed within 1-2 weeks.

Insurance Appraisals

• We will verbally appraise any item for free.  When your insurance requires a written appraisal, we charge 1% of the appraised price, or a minimum of $20.00.  Typically, appraisals can be done in about a week.  We can also take a Polaroid picture of your jewelry if it is required.

Expert Watch Repair

• We do some limited watch repair on premises including battery replacement and watch band sizing.  All other jobs are sent to the watchmaker.  We are happy to get free estimates before any work is completed.

Pearl Stringing

• We can restring pearls for a small fee of $2.50 per inch.  We will also find matching replacements if you have lost any from a strand.  Smaller pearls and mabe pearls can be reglued into their original positions.
